Durham Cycles is selling select models from our E-Bike rental fleet!

Our rental fleet is meticulously maintained, with each bike receiving a full inspection after every ride. Most bikes are 2024 or 2025 models - and some have only had a handful of rides. Each bike is fully tuned before purchase and should be functionally identical to a brand-new model - but with a bit more character.

All Fleet and Demo Bikes receive one year of free gear and brake adjustments! Demo bikes carry full manufacturer’s warranty.

Marin Fairfax E, Step-Over: Demo $999 (New $1899)

The critically acclaimed Marin Fairfax has gone electric. The “Fairfax E” brings the power to scoot you along with 40Nm of torque from the rear hub, quietly and seamlessly adding a boost to your pedaling. The 340Wh battery is cleanly integrated into the Series 2 aluminum frame's downtube, while a Shimano 8-speed Altus drivetrain provides plenty of gearing range. Finally, hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro allow for controlled and comfortable stopping power in all conditions.

Marin Sausalito E: Fleet $1499 - $2199 (New $2399 - $2999)

The Marin Sausalito is our favorite ebike for its ride quality, simplicity, and light weight. 650b wheels with wide tires provide great handling, a smooth road feel, and great traction; the Shimano Steps motor is smooth, quiet and reliable; and the aluminum frame and minimalist design make the Sausalito ~10lbs lighter than some competitors
